Academic Experience:

Designed courses, developed course material and taught senior and junior level undergraduate students of Computer Science and Engineering programs of Ahsanullah University of Science Technology, University of London (external program) and Bangladesh Institute of Management. Some of those courses were Discrete Mathematics, Numerical Methods, Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Programming, Database Management Systems, Formal Languages and Automata Theory, Stochastic Modeling, Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. Also taught, on some occasions, students of the M. Sc. in Computer Science programs, some courses like Distributed Databases and Special Topics on MIS (Knowledge Management, Data Warehousing, Data Mining, E-commerce).

Supervised Project and Thesis works of undergraduate final year students of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. Some projects that were of practical importance and appreciation to the people and organizations addressed included Dynamic Databases and Web based applications (Website, Alumni database and Result processing system of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology), Data Warehousing and Mining (System for graceful degradation of demographic information of rural Bangladesh collected by Dhaka Ahsania Mission) etc.

Have taken the bulk of the responsibilities from the very beginning in development of course curricula of the Computer Science and Engineering programs of the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, the Technical Education Board of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Institute of Management.

Administrative Experience:

Worked as the Director of Students' Welfare of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology for about three years (1998-2000).

Working for about eight years (1998-2001, 2007-present) as the Head of the Computer Science and Engineering department of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology.
